African Forum Scotland is a company limited by guarantee set up as a social enterprise with the objective of providing through its activities recognition for excellence for Africans in Scotland and in the diaspora, African organisations, businesses, and all African stakeholders and to provide a learning and best practice platform for African businesses to excel and learn from one another.
At the African Forum Scotland, we strive to achieve our objective through our flagship Annual African Achievement Awards and the African Business Forum - two projects that is aimed at celebrating excellence and best practice and promoting the opportunity for exchange, knowledge sharing, business intelligence and collaborative excellence.
The rich and diverse background of our board of directors and management committee is such that will drive our visions and organisation strategy.

Company Objectives
- To encourage Africans individuals, stimulates interests of individuals, communities and businesses resident in Scotland, to develop a better understanding of each others' cultures.
- To inform and educate Africans and wider communities about the diverse African cultures and traditions.
- To promote equality and diversity within and between all African and the wider communities;
- To annually award individuals, groups and organisations in such domain as Arts, Education and training, Entertainment and Media, Employment and Community Projects, Health and Sports, contribution to alleviation of poverty.
- To empower and enhance the profiles of organisations, individuals and interested parties engaged in promoting and developing African communities.
